It's an oversimplification to keep saying 'the high line, the high line, the high line' over and over again. I'd like to think your level of tactical analysis can connect pressing in the front line and in the midfield to the high line. This system falls apart when the team doesn't stay compact and press as a unit. When players are given time on the ball to pick out passes in behind it makes the back line look bad, but they're doing their job eliminating options. It's the players closer to the passer that have to effectively press.

I absolutely agree that Cancelo should have been given more chances with Kounde's performances lately. Heck, even left winger against Atletico would have been nice considering Guiliano Simeone consistently cooking Balde down our left.

Also any team who plays a high line as high as Barca’s will run into problems, it’s not rocket science.
