They finally call a guy for flopping and it turns out he was tripped very obviously. They can VAR somebody being a nose-hair in front of a defender, but not something as obvious and as consequential as that.

Cant stand the atrocities committed in what is supposed to be world class football. Played 14 yrs made it to select teams and won state titles along with other awards... HATE cheaters pulling on jerseys to throw off equilibrium and destroy necessary momentum for a skilled play. Throw the cheaters back in their perambulators until they can act mature!!!!

I really don't mean to antagonize, but what the fuck is with the diving in football? I understand it's a strategy to eliminate opposing players from the field...but isn't there an unspoken code of conduct like in hockey? Are you taught to do this? If your team can do it, the opponents can also do it...isn't that incentive not to do it? Not a single one of these 'injuries' would amount to the damage of one hockey hit, or of one really hard foul in basketball.
