When the share dilution is revealed and Mark's lawyer (legal rep?) gives him the side eye... contractually in the right, but ethically? π¬
And it cuts over to the cross examiners' subtle but smug expression. "You heard that right?"
All of it unspoken. Some gotdamn CINEMA. πΏ

R.I.P to those laptops that Andrew needed to break for this iconic scene. Apparently, Andrew needed more than 20 times take to break a laptop and yes, they used a lot of laptops just for this scene.

Funny he's worth Billions great job coward Mark. Now living in a wonderful country he had to pay no taxes on after giving up USA citizenship.

This is why itβs important to always have some form of written contract when you start a new company.
Mark only had a verbal agreement with Eduardo and the Winklevoss Twins and because he signed no contract with them he was able to backstab them both.
Even watching the film again , when Mark pitched his idea to Eduardo and says letβs split it 30/70 I wish Eduardo drew up a company contract that they both signed.
Even if Eduardo had different ideas for Facebook that Mark did not agree with , but Mark did not appreciate that it was Eduardo who gave him the money he needed without question so he could start Facebook.
The only reason other investors perused interest in Mark and Facebook is because he had a product that was already attracting attention. If he pitched his idea to the investors without a product they probably would have turned it down. It was Eduardo who recognized the potential of Facebook and he gave Mark the $19 000, 00 that he needed to start Facebook. It was because of Eduardo that other investors were now willing to invest $500 000 in the company.
