Really like this mix. Great work music. Also fits seasonal periods like fall, winter, and Halloween

From being the unluckiest man …to the luckiest of them all. Life like god, isn’t without a sense of irony. There’s no glory without sacrifice, there can’t be no beauty without pain.

Love the respect for book characters. Be awesome to see some other ones. Maybe it’d inspire our younger crowd to read some of the classics

While the version with Jim Caviezel was my first introduction to this story, and it will always hold a special place in my mind because of that, I would absolutely rush to see a new adaptation of "The Count of Monte Cristo." I think the Caviezel one is the most recent adaptation to be made, and it has been a long time since it came out. The book is big enough that surely somebody could turn it into a miniseries without much difficulty.

I've very recently finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo and just two days ago watched a French movie of last the year bearing the same name. Now I'm listening to this beautifully composed music that is so rife with the spirit of the novel and film I've just mentioned. Outstanding work. Bravo!

“Monte Cristo started. “What did your father tell you, M. Morrel?” said he eagerly.
“My father thought that this action had been miraculously performed—he believed that a benefactor had arisen from the grave to save us. Oh, it was a touching superstition, monsieur, and although I did not myself believe it, I would not for the world have destroyed my father’s faith. How often did he muse over it and pronounce the name of a dear friend—a friend lost to him forever; and on his death-bed, when the near approach of eternity seemed to have illumined his mind with supernatural light, this thought, which had until then been but a doubt, became a conviction, and his last words were, ‘Maximilian, it was Edmond Dantès!’”

To be honest this also sounds like it could be played in an Assassins Creed game as background music for some dramatic dialogue/monologue cutscene. AC: Unity and Ezio come to mind.

That haunting atmosphere is out of this world! There’s always something new, intriguing, and epic in your compositions and visuals.
btw, what tool did you use to create the moving sea while the subject stays fixed? For example, the floating cap. I have an idea that it could be done with the After Effects plugin loopflow, but could you share how you made the sea move? Was that directly generated using an online tool?

I am not proud, but I am happy; and happiness blinds, I think, more than pride.
