Coyote has taken on some of the most agonizing stings on the planet—the Bullet Ant, the Executioner Wasp, even the Gympie Gympie, the infamous “Suicide Plant.” But this latest sting? He compares it to that level of pain... Meet Costa Rica’s IO Moth Caterpillar, also known as the Dragon Flame Caterpillar here at Brave Wilderness—a tiny creature with a sting so powerful, it left Coyote’s arm in instant agony with one of the nastiest physical reactions we've ever seen. How does it compare to his most famous stings? Where does it rank on the Caterpillar Sting Pain Index (CSPI)? Special Thanks to Botanika for hosting the Brave Wilderness team! I got stung by a caterpillar but damn it it made me numb instead of screaming in pain. What a rip😢

@@Beanblade

Eat it!

@@MattGallagherComposer

I feel like Coyote at this point is like that guy in South America who keeps getting crucified for some festival every year, and his doctor is like "man you've gotta stop this," and the dude himself is like "yeah, I probably should," but then he just keeps going and doing it anyway.

@@quinnweimer-ludin3934

I’ve got io moth larvae in my persimmon trees, and on my swamp mallow. I go out some nights to visit them. They look beautiful, and painful.

I was canoeing on a lake in East Texas when I was about 12. I pulled the canoe onto a tiny island with a few short trees and walked around the island for a minute. Not realizing there was one of these caterpillars on every leaf of the tree. I was absolutely covered in stings. It was a rather unpleasant experience

Buck moth caterpillars are bad. My son had one on his jean and sat in my lap. 30 minutes later I felt like I was gonna vomit and incredibly woozy. It didn't hurt too bad, but what it did to my body was not good.

@@SharonGetchel

Hey coyote! I have an idea for a bite. We have giant bugs here. They are called helgramites. Giant space monster with a monster bite!
