Well said, sir. I used to be intimidated when I saw a thumbnail for a booktuber that showed them holding 17 books and the tag stating 'all the books I read this month'. It took me a year to read The Name of the Wind. I went on a real journey with that book. I can't join a local book group because I take so long to read. I started Water Moon by Samantha Yambao two weeks ago. Its lovely. Im walking through it and admiring the view. Planting my feet. Now I think they can't possibly be reading these books the way they're supposed to. It feels too fairweather for me.
