Their littl4 face off at 4:53 shows so much with so little. We see them both dodge each others webs, but Andrew flips and lands in a crounching position where as Toby flips but immediately goes for the follow up. Just a little nod to the experience Toby's Spiderman has.

My brother kept hearing teasers and spoilers about the big 3 being on screen and my mom never believed. So when we came to theatres and saw Tobey (my moms favourite) she legit cried 💀💀💀. When my brother saw Andrew (The one he loved and is still made got rebooted) he lost his marbles 💀💀💀

The reason why Andrew's SM performance sucked in this movie is because he wasnt mentally there
He lost too much:His parents got killed,His uncle got killed,His captain stacy got killed,His mintor/idol turned into a giant lizard and got to prison,His Gwen stacy (the love of his life)got killed,He had no choice but to kill his number FAN,His best friend got to prison

Tobey was pretty much my introduction to Marvel, and yes, I did assume Spider-Man acquired powers and not a tech suit, most every other Marvel character has powers of some sort and it really felt like he was Spider-Man, not just A Spider-Man. In my opinion, it'd be like if Hulk had to use a serum to transform every single time, or if Doctor Strange needed a staff to use magic and anyone who picked it up could use it. My only exposure to Marvel is the movies and videos that cover the comics, so I won't pretend my opinion is coming from a decade of comic knowledge and is super valuable. I honestly just never get a chance to see if others like Spider-Man having powers or if they prefer the suit angle better, and I don't even hate the tech suit aspect, just slightly prefer the powers being in Peter more
