They aren't dangerous....you leave them alone they leave you alone. I was fixing and painting my old shed and there was a pretty good size nest under the roof overhang. I was pounding nails near them and running a paint brush right up next to the nest. I was careful not to touch it or disturb anything and they seemed to respect that because they didn't once attack me...they just kept and eye on me.

@@marcod.r.3299

bees and hornets are OK, they do their thing and leave you alone if you don´t bother them.....but wasps are just creatures from hell

@@EDCandCOMMSJunky

They scared me as a kid and as an adult i’m terrified of them.

@@deandunn-q1o

I have 2 water dishes out for birds and I've seen wasps drinking ALOT. I think it's cool that they're using it too. I change the bowls 2-5 times a day, I use brita water from the fridge. I had tap water and brita out and they always like the brita more. As far as the wasp go my garden is healthy and bright.

@@brentfrank7012

Social wasps are quick to show up if I bring any cooked meat outside. You suggest they don’t eat protein, only carbohydrates, I don’t think so.

@@paularckless7254

I hate wasps and after i got stung multiple times for no other reason than been 50 yards from a nest i found out they don't like fire, especially half a dozen fire lighters with loads of disposable lighters strapped to them, as for bees they can sting more than once, the barb on their stinger does always get snagged it can take quite a few times before that happens.

@@russelltofts3673

I love wasps. Highly beautiful, useful insects.

@@iambarnabas_

They absolutely eat protein! Larvae needs protein to grow so the workers are on a constant hunt!

Day three of multiple stings on my middle finger by a wasp. Hand swollen and throbbing, worst pain ever. Hiding near my side garage door, we both paid a high price.

In Greece they have yellow jackets. As a child we used to put honey or jam on our noses and let the wasps east it off. Terrifying but fun as a kid. They never stung us and went on their way when done. At that point I realised that they’re actually not that aggressive and had respect for them ever since

@@paleomagicksr.9880

Paper wasps patrol my broccoli and mustard all summer. They kill and eat the larvae that would otherwise eat my broccoli leaves. I love wasps.

@@kennethtalbott2233

i've been stung by wasps and i was also attacked by a swarm as i accidently disturbed their nest. however i'n not scared of them, if you simply keep still they mostly fly away, it's all the flapping of hands that makes them sting you. the times i was stung was when i put my hands in a position where they were threatened and i hadn't seen them.

@@roughriderdave

I ironically just wiped a nest about 8" round about half an hour ago. Brake clean kills them instantly btw.

@@shaun8256

Don't care what anyone says about them, I used to think they were bad till I was working at a dealership and one would buzz me when I'd sit behind my car on lunch. I put a piece of sausage down from my sandwich and the little guy gobbled it up. For months it would visit me everyday, never bothered me just landed near me and waited for the treat.

@@alankemp1970

A bee sting gets detached when stinging humans because of our skin texture , if you don’t panic and let it slowly retract it will fly away intact. They can sting multiple times when defending against their usual attackers. And a bee is actually a type of wasp.

No, simply no.
If critters stay somewhere out in nature.
I have no issue with them.
But if a grizzly, rattlesnake, rat ,
Fleas, termites, ants, or wasp wants to set up shop.
Where I live.
They have to go.
If it's a honeybee swarm.
Hopefully I can have them re-homed.
All of the rest, nope.

There are plenty of insects and animals that kill pests without destroying honeybee colonies and attacking humans for no reasons. Cherrypicked argument. Wasps are AHs.
