Shelly Sony, HAYM, Duke Chaine - Happy Place Hitting theaters on August 8th, Freakier Friday is set to be one of the year's most entertaining comedies. The long-awaited sequel to the 2023 cult classic Freaky Friday, reunites iconic stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan over two decades later. The film's soundtrack features a standout track by Shelly Sony, one of Music Brokers' most prominent and distinctive artists. Shelly Sony was born in Norway to a Brazilian father and an Argentinian mother -- so music was in her blood before she could even walk. She believes her musical talent was inherited from her father, who instilled in her a love for bossa nova, MPB, and reggae from an early age She describes herself as a passionate person who feels that dignity and love are two of the most important things one can have in this life. Shelly thinks she can express herself most fully through her music, which, like her, is neither vain nor pretentious. She likes spinning a new sound and offering her own swinging reggae take on whatever the song of the day might be. Shelly can often be found cracking a can with General Soundbwoy and Vintage Reggae Soundsystem, and , both artistic groups who have influenced her and her unique reggae sound. ABOUT "HAPPY PLACE" Shelly Sony, HAYM, and Duke Chaine join forces on "Happy Place", a lush blend of Afrobeats, soulful synths, and laid-back house rhythms. Each artist brings their own flavor to the mix -- from Shelly's smooth vocal delivery to Duke Chaine's slick production and HAYM's rhythmic flair. The track creates a warm, uplifting atmosphere that's equally suited for summer sunsets and late-night dancefloors. Afrobeat grooves meet melodic house in this feel-good anthem you'll want on repeat.
