Rising from the dark streets of Istanbul, Mia Luna is the most captivating voice of new-generation dark pop, blending melancholic vocals and striking lyrics over electronic music foundations to make a powerful entrance onto the music scene.
Born Aylin Yıldız, the artist chose the stage name "Mia Luna" to represent the mystery of moonlight (Luna) and her own inner journey (Mia). Leaving her conservatory education behind, she started her music career as a street musician, drawing inspiration from the nightlife of the city and her own life experiences.
At 22, Mia Luna collaborated with producer Kaan Bozkurt on her debut EP, Zehir, which explores the darker sides of modern relationships, the loneliness of urban life, and stories of personal transformation. The five-track EP is built on minimalist electronic foundations, layered with powerful vocals and compelling lyrics.
