🏙 Do cities like Country Life Acres have the right to set their own rules; or is this just legalized exclusion?

America? Which one? South America? Central America? Or North America? America, the one and only. The continent.

By what metric are we measuring richest? Atherton CA is widely considered the richest based on per capita income, NYC is the richest city on earth by total economic activity with 374,500 millionaires, 818 centamillionaires, and 66 billionaires. I only find Country Life Acres listed as the wealthiest town or city in the state of Missouri. Even my town of Sammamish, WA is frequently cited as the richest in terms of household income. I don't disagree with the concept or ideals you've conveyed but "richest" and "poorest" are highly subjective terms if you don't define the metrics you base that on and that leave me questioning the data and research behind the concepts and ideals expressed.

Jackson Hole WY isn’t the richest?
@@RickStar5672
How is the rich part of Missouri a city. It’s just a suburb. There is a difference between Urban and Suburban sprawls of America.
Inequality exist every where like nyc with inner rich and low income neighborhoods and outside nyc with suburbs in nyc with rich and middle income to low income neighborhoods and towns! 😂

0:25 Why in the fuck is a private community's road PUBLICLY funded? Those rich bastards can afford to pay for that shit out of pocket without even denting their net worth.
America needs an entire overhaul. The rich are destroying this fucking country and we, THE PEOPLE, are sick and tired of it.
@@kevnev342
American is still the wild west; just a loose federation of territories with wildly different rules, values, and power structures, all held together by a thin constitutional thread rather than true genuine unity. Survival of the richest

Country Life Acres would look like a real millionaire town if it were in South Africa.
It looks so depressing and underwhelming here.

I like the topic, but the constant switching between the two cities makes the video confusing, especially for listeners who are not watching. I would suggest structuring it more clearly, for example one section on the poorer city and another on the richer city. That would make it much easier to follow.

Flint resident here, I feel like this was a bit of a misrepresentation of our scenario. You seemed to cover outdated topics like the water supply, which has been fine since 2018, and did not touch at all on active issues (well, other than the strike in Gland Blanc [which you did not put in the effort to pronounce correctly], which is only the cause of Henry Ford Health recently buying the hospital and being evil). You spent the whole video doing the same thing you advised against in the end - demonizing with little focus on whats actually happening.
@@ducknwater3016
The concept of a gated community seems not only strange, but very dystopian. I live in Copenhagen, so it's normal for multi millionaires and rich people to live next to poor people and middle class people. It's common see a house worth 5+ million dollars and right next door it's public housing. Not only does this create less tension between classes, it also helps with having less misconceptions about both groups.

I am missing the point of the video?
I grew up in the hood, and mad I'm not far enough from it either. People in it ruin it for everyone. People I know are in jail or dead on their own accord.
Got delequints, hood rats, and gang bangers running loose, and people defending or snitching on em.
It's not a racial thing. It's a culture thing I think the more I look at it.
ThugLyfe is terrible. The role models looking back.
Gated communities suck too though. HoA. Ultra rich or old money are pretentious, and nosey.
Flint officials and citizens are as corrupt as the Michigan State officials.
I lived near Kalamazoo, but in the rural spots. White people got it bad out there too.
Should now visit Old Greenwich or a rich New England city. They got old money, bigger houses, and you can actually walk around the streets in some.
As bad as the ghetto is. The poor rural places are worse in many ways. People forget whites are the poorest majority.
Yeah I don't blame the rich for walling off their houses at all. I would too, but with stone, and guard geese. JP last part.
Enclaves are common across the world. Why should America be any different. They aren't on public land right? They pay for their utilities?

Flint, Michigan = a good, honest, but poor bunch of people affected by outside factors and an evil state.
