Cloak ult went off
Your supports clearly didn’t have ult or they would’ve popped theirs
So your team ran back to where they’re not taking continuous nonstop damage
You popped your ult either thinking it could kill cloak, despite him having the phase cooldown and you not charging the ult at all- or you thought your team was gonna combo, which no one communicated.
Of course they ran back, the whole team ran back. Do you honestly believe you’re the only one who made the right call (to stand in an AOE of constant damage while the other team beats your ass) while 5 others were being dumb? No bro, ya gotta learn how support ults work

Something that took me a minute to realize is his sword stance dash knocks flyers out of the sky. And with the slow applied it takes them longer to gain altitude. Use that time to ruin their day with bloodline awakening strikes

5:29 bro I hate when we literally win the round and they ask someone to switch, like chill out. They can switch when it looks like they need to. Unnecessary switching can make or break what your team is doing or how the enemy team plays against you. 😅

I think he kinda plays like a vampire. Like vampires don’t go in guns blazing and they’re usually scariest in 1 on 1 interactions in unfamiliar territory or when there’s chaos.
Fight a vampire in broad daylight with a team holding wooden stakes and he’s cooked. Fight a vampire in a dark alley while you’re lost, hurt, or unprepared and you’re cooked. Same principle. They’re master opportunists that rely on the element of surprise and human error.

So what I'm saying here is you're actually being healed while you're playing blade within your team whereas most the games I've been attempting to play blade they just do not heal me at all or they wait until the tanks are dead and then pay attention to me This is nice I guess I have to play comp just to learn the new character safely

in OW i sat in practice vs ai (lethal) for months, (also met some cool people) learning and playing ashe/widow up to the point where I can now go in and 9 out 10 times I'll get POTG. I go into normal games and people think I'm cheating. Same in MR, this is how I learn. I don't leave Practice until I can get MVP several times in a row. That's when I know I learned the hero. There's a method to my madness. AI bots on hard, move so strange-so fast, that when I go play against regular people I can predict how they move because most are too slow.

I've been playing Blade for maybe 5 hours now and i realize that the best time to use the Gun anti heal is when you're engaging. When someone is half HP or less, definitely use the sword dash.
So, gun dash for initiation (especially if there's a healer nearby). Sword dash for raw damage/confirming the kill.
Also, i learned a tech on my own. When you ult someone, pick a target and as they're trying to escape the ult, you can dash boop them back into the ult for more damage.
Also learned, the sword dash knocks down flyers.

The anti heal on blade can actually be pretty useful for killing healers or just weak people in support ults even through Luna ult

Blade definitely isn't a bad character, the shotgun is surprisingly powerful but he has a high skill ceiling, knowing when to go in, managing cool downs and blocking cc and ults with the block can be very good.

You didn't point it out but I'm sure you know that his gun is similar to Roadhog's original alt-fire. It does more damage at mid-range rather than close range

Ah i see. Makes sense to not apply anti heal on targets with no healers backing them up. Better to use the dash to ramp the vamp much quicker

He is just Bucky with a Moment ability and a Block
I play him like Devil may cry 😭
I don't even use the Sword much because i don't know how to go in so i stay at the Side Doing Massive Damage at proper range
Get in and out with Dash
And Block to sustain lol
Maybe I need to use the Sword more I use it as a Shield

General tip for Blade.
Just like Psylocke, always save 1 dash. But, instead for running away, Blade's dash during his Blood awakening would give you 3 stacks if you land it. Making your attack speed fast already.
1st dash would be the gun then pressure using the next dash with blood awakening on.
